Bridge Replacement Works

In spite of the considerable amount of preliminary works being executed on site, tranche 2 is yet to fully complete a new bridge as of this reporting period. Seven (7) bridges under BCW 2 have prepared the substructure and are waiting for the steel beam girders to arrive from China before they can construct the superstructure. Shipment for these bridges are expected in April 2024. We may witness the first few bridges to be completed and opened to traffic in May or June this year
